Terms of Service

The agreement between you and TAAAPIT.

Last updated: 9 August 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TAAAPIT mobile app and the website at taaapit.com (together, the "Service"), provided by TAAAPIT ("TAAAPIT", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Notify us promptly at securovix@gmail.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

3. The Service

TAAAPIT lets you create one or more digital business cards, choose which details are public, and share them by tap, QR code, or link. A card you publish is assigned a public link (a "handle") and can be viewed by anyone you share it with. Handles are provided on a first-come basis and remain associated with your account while in use; we may reclaim handles that are unused, that infringe others' rights, or that violate these Terms.

4. Plans and subscriptions

TAAAPIT is free to use. A free account may create one card and save up to 30 contacts. Paid plans raise those limits and add further features:

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Prices may differ by country; the price shown at the moment of purchase is the price you pay.

These are auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions). Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

On Android the same plans are sold by card payment through Stripe rather than through Apple, and are cancelled in the app.

There is no free trial. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its own policy, not by us; we cannot issue or reverse an App Store charge. If a purchase is refunded or a subscription lapses, the paid features stop and your account returns to the free plan while your cards and contacts remain.

If we change a subscription price we will tell you in advance, and the new price only applies from a renewal after you have been notified.

5. Chat, and content other people see

TAAAPIT includes messaging: one-to-one chats and group chats, in which you can send text, images and documents. You are responsible for what you send.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Do not send content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone's rights, and do not use the Service to spam or to impersonate anyone.

Every message can be reported and every person can be blocked from inside the app: press and hold a message to report it or to block its sender. A blocked person can no longer message you, and their messages no longer reach you in one-to-one or group conversations. We review reports and act on them, normally within 24 hours, by removing content and by suspending or removing accounts that break these Terms.

6. Company accounts and Teams

On the Business plan a company can create a team and invite colleagues by email. An invited person receives an email inviting them to set a password for an account the company has created for them.

If you use an account your company created for you, please understand what that means: the company chooses which card you hand out, and the contacts you collect with that account are shared with the company — the team's owner and admins can see them, together with your name as the person who collected each one. Your team conversations are likewise visible to the colleagues in them. You keep your own copy of every contact you collect. If you would rather your contacts were yours alone, use your own account instead of a company one.

7. AI features

Paid plans include a monthly allowance of AI actions: scanning a paper card into your Log Book, drafting a follow-up message, and asking questions about your own Log Book. To do this we send the relevant content — the photo of the card, or the contact details concerned — to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing on our behalf. It is not used to train anyone's models. AI output can be wrong; check anything before you rely on it, and treat it as a draft rather than as advice.

8. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you add to your cards ("Your Content"). You grant TAAAPIT a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service — for example, to publish your public card and deliver it to people you share it with. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content already shared with or saved by others, and except where we must retain it to comply with the law.

You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to share it. Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or that impersonates someone else.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (such as Google Firebase, Google and Apple sign-in, and Apple Wallet and Google Wallet). Your use of those features may also be subject to the providers' own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

11. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including the TAAAPIT name, logo, software, and design — belongs to TAAAPIT and is protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding except as needed to use the Service.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any card or link will always be available.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TAAAPIT will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold TAAAPIT harmless from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your public cards and links will be removed.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which TAAAPIT is established, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the laws of your country of residence (including, where applicable, the United Kingdom, the European Union, or your U.S. state).

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
