Cookie Policy

How we use cookies and similar technologies.

Last updated: 25 August 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how TAAAPIT uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) on the website at taaapit.com and on public card pages. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

We keep this simple: TAAAPIT does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use what's needed to make the site and your card work — and, only if you accept it, Google Analytics to count visits to our marketing pages. Nothing from Google loads until you say yes.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" include browser local storage and IndexedDB, which let a site remember information on your device. We use the term "cookies" below to cover all of these.

2. Cookies we use

TypePurpose
Strictly necessary Required to load pages, keep you signed in on the web, and let a public card page fetch and display its content. The card page uses local browser storage provided by our infrastructure (Google Firebase) to work reliably. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
Analytics Only set if you accept them. Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) that count visits to this website so we can see how many people find us and which pages they land on. They last up to two years and hold a random identifier, not your name. Google Analytics is not loaded at all until you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner — if you choose "Reject", or close the banner without choosing, nothing from Google is requested and no analytics cookie is set. We do not run these on public card pages: if someone opens a card you shared, that visit is never recorded here.
Functional Remember basic preferences so the experience works smoothly during your visit.

We use analytics cookies on the marketing pages of this website, with your consent, as described above. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies anywhere, and we do not run analytics on public card pages.

Your answer to the cookie banner is itself remembered on your device, in browser local storage under the name taaapit.cookie-consent. That one is strictly necessary — without it we would have to ask you again on every page — and it holds only your choice and the date you made it. It is not sent to us or to anyone else, and it expires after twelve months, after which we will ask again.

3. Third parties

Google Analytics counts visits to our marketing pages, and only once you have accepted analytics cookies; Google processes that data under its own privacy policy, and you can opt out in any browser with Google's Analytics Opt-out Add-on. Public card pages and web sign-in are powered by Google Firebase, which may set strictly necessary storage on your device to operate. Google's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy. We do not embed advertising networks or social-media tracking pixels.

4. Managing cookies

Changing your mind. You can change or withdraw your analytics choice at any time: go to taaapit.com and select Cookie settings at the bottom of the page. Withdrawing consent deletes the _ga and _ga_* cookies already on your device and stops Google Analytics from doing anything further; it is not loaded again on any later visit.

You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to block them. Blocking the strictly necessary ones may stop parts of the site — such as viewing a card or signing in — from working correctly; blocking analytics cookies changes nothing about how the site works for you.

Most browsers let you manage cookies via their "Privacy" or "Settings" menu, including clearing existing cookies and site data.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
